I been wanting a Longnose Butterfly for ages, but have read alot about them not being reef safe/anenome safe. I have a VERY expensive RBTA and GBTA.as well as my corals so was just wondering if anybody could comfirm from first hand experience about them nipping coral/anenomes.

Considering that they eat corals and nems in the wild, yes you can expect the same in captivity. The only thing I can say from experience is that butterflies are extremely difficult to feed. Without their natural food supply, they usually tend to be short-lived, refusing prepared foods.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I agree, not a good fish over all. Difficult to provide the proper nutrition for, most do not make it more than a couple months, hence the reason you never see one in images of others people tanks.

    A known anemone eater.

Funny, My LFS has like 4 of these for sale. Must be more of the "Nemo" Craze that I hear about. I'd love to have one of these guys, they are gorgeous examples of salt water fish. Too bad they are obnoxious fish.......hardeeharhar.....
