Haha,i'll take some of the blame,I have broad shoulders. What a beaut there RC,and yes they will become addicting.Congrats man.I just secretly added two more to my tank. They fall under the catagory two of Evolved's thread, meaning they're reef safe coral wise but may munch inverts.Luckily,I have them in my 55 so I can observe thier behavior before they get transfered to the 65 for permanent residence.;).Again,congrats!

    C. rubriventralis is correct. Will be a little skittish for a week or so until he settles in. Then you will see him out and active almost all the time.
This particular species can be a bit on the aggressive side (relative to the rest of the genus), but I don't see fire fish causing a significant issue. May not play well with other wrasses, however.

Visually. Easy if you're a wrasse nut. You have a male.

Coloration of the body, coloration of the fins, and even the shape/length of the fins, to be more specific.

what would be a better tank mate wrasse wise in a 75 gallon with the fairy wrasse? I am going out of town this weekend and hope they have a few wrasses for sale so I might pick up another one, they are very addicting ;D
