Ebay, ac-rc is the seller. He has a store. I felt bad at first for going Chinese instead of American but half of all American products are made in china and assembles here anyways. the spec sheet says the PAR reading is 190, does that do anything for anyone?

And yes I have the fans attached to the heatsink wired to run when the lights are on.

Do you have any problems with those being right on the glass? (that looks really cool btw) no heat?

whats "cool" (pun intended) about cpu heatsinks is that they were designed to keep a cpu from reaching a critical high temperature...which they do, and well....most cpu's must maintain way below 150/200 degrees. ...I could not imagine those little LED's getting anywhere close to that...BUT, I don't know how hot LED's get (not very I'm guessing)..so I am just assuming that the heatsink would be way more than sufficient to keep the heat down to a very very low temp.
    jmo : ) ..very kewl !! lol

I have no idea if this helps but my heatsink has 26 3 watt LEDs, running at 80% power my heatsink gets up to around 150 F w/o fans running. When I turn on my fans I drop to around 124 F.

I can see how his LEDs would get hotter than a typical LED, there are a bunch of them in a very confined 1 inch square.

With just the heatsink, no fan running the led will melt. With the fan running there is no heat produced at all. There is about 1/4 inch from the glass to the led itself. The heatsink is a copper core which absorbs a lot more heat than just aluminum giving time for the fan to dissipate the heat.
