looking at fx5 filter

hi looking to buy a fx5 for my 180gall marine tank what are they like and any tips on cleaning them an how often .
are they noisey or quiet.

 

Never had an FX5 but had many other Fluval cannister filters , ocean2000

Packleader , ran one on his 40 gallon reef tank and seemed happy with it performance wise

Cleaning - I was always a weekly cleaner on my cannisters - when I ran bio media in them , I would lift out all the trays and swirl them around in the buckets of old tank water at weekly water change times

I would also rinse any bags of carbon and GFO I had in there to ensure nothing restricted the flow for the next week
