That's pretty much safe. Knowing mag or calc would be nice but everything else is good to me.

Okay!! Cool! If i get a couple for bucks soon ill go and get one, i dont have a mag or calc test cuz i figured most corals dont use that much up and i do weekly 5g water changes so thats why i kinda figured they should be okay.

Sounds okay. The only issue is they grow about 12" and can do so fairly quickly in many cases. Do you want that much of your tank being occupied by one inhabitant?

I mean, people replace leathers or frag them when they get too big..If my nem gets too big then i can get a smaller one to replace it, its not like its going to be 2 months, more like a year or two...

I don't have an issue with that even with some of the more sensitive SPS corals. Corals are just much more tolerant of environmental change IME.

I have had up to 4 BTA's in my tank, 3 Rose and 1 Green. I currently have 3 Rose right now. Here are a few things I can add:

    - make sure to screen off any powerheads or intakes with something like gutterguard and zipties so if the nem wanders (and it most likely will) it won't get sucked in and foul the tank up.

    - removing a nem after it has footed itself on a rock isn't that easy. If you'd like to swap one out for a smaller if it grows too large, you will most likely need to remove the rock it's on, or very very carefully try and remove its foot.

    - do your best to place it in an area you want it when it first goes in, but again, it will most likely wander until it's happy with the lighting and flow. Some say a trick is to feed them some raw shrimp when they foot in a place you like, they may relate the area to the food, nothing is guaranteed though. Nems are unpredictable, which is why some find them to be a pita, I've been lucky with mine, they have stayed on the same rock, high up near the light. I run 1 250w MH bulb and they are doing well.

15ppm of NA isn't horrible, I'd say anything 20ppm and under is fine if you're doing normal water changes. If anything, keeping a stable/consistent system is best for all nems, etc.
