Looking at getting a GBTA

Thanks for the tips, i will be looking into getting it this weekend probably, i am getting my pheonix 14k this thursday.

 

Cool, I currently run a Radium 20K but will be getting a Phoenix 14K SE as my next bulb def.

I'm thinking the nem will wander to the highest point of your rocks, closest to your lights. All of mine did it, no matter where they started. Maybe make sure that there aren't any corals around those areas if you had any.

 

alright, sounds good..I have a spot at the top of the rock i can put him, but if he does not like where he is at and starts to run over corals, i may re do my scape..Since i dont have a ton of room.

 

Yeah just be prepared to move corals if it does move. I made sure that I was going to be home for a bit when I got my first RBTA so I could watch and did have to clear a little path while it moved. Best of luck, let us know how it goes!

 

What do you mean replace it? What do you plan on doing with the original nem? It will not take a year for that nem to double in size. only a matter of months. Have you thought about getting a bigger tank? Seems like you have equipment efficient enough to upsize.

 

I would sell it or give it to LFS, I cant upgrade..I can barely affored keeping a 29g.
