looking at LEDs for the Non-DIY types just some info

    My LFS sells them for about $8, so I assumed they needed to be purchased. Not a big deal either way.

    I watched the installation video online. The guy made it look easy, but there were a lot of cuts in the video... so I had a feeling it wasn't as easy as it looked.

    Honestly if money wasn't an issue, I would buy the Illumina. How do you like yours?

    It is truly amazing puts out more light then the MH i had and is nice and sleek and sexy!! no complaints at all maybe to much light ? lol

    Felt the same way when I first made the switch from MH to LED. It is amazing the visual brightness difference. I never have run any of my LED fixtures at 100%. I am up to roughly 55-60% with the Radion right now. I think that is fine for what I'm running right now, but when I make the jump to my bigger build, I might have to up the power. Time will tell.

    I was going to up mine to 60% but my clam seems to be getting photo shock so we will see if i have to turn it up any more when i put it over my larger tank. Ill have the vlink today so i can send you some stuff on the software.
