For the record, one thing I just remembered about silica sand is that it doesn't have the buffering capacity that aragonite has. FYI.

Well wet9500 I stopped and I didn't see any so I asked at customer service, They said that they will stock it but it is a seasonal item and they wont be getting any in until April or May ....................... John

 

I found 2 stores in PA that have it one has 4 pallets of it the other has 37 bags man I wish I knew someone there that would be willing to ship them to me.

 

Good news guess persistance paid off I got up with home depot corprete offices and located some in another state and they are store transfering me 5 50lb bags of it at $4.99 a bag with no freight so I guess that is a good thing. I'm putting the extra 3 bags up for a rainy day for now. thanks for the advice.
