Running a little bit low on room on the back of the tank due to my AC70 DIY fuge. I'm going to get a skimmer once the tank is done cycling, but I might be limited in space. Anyone have any suggestions for any compact skimmers?

    The tank is 25G.

    Thanks!

    for a 35 gallon tank

I believe AquaC remora may be a slimline model that should fit side by side with your HOB on the back of the tank

I would also suggest an air powered skimmer might be a good option for that sized set up and they fit inside the tank, so a tight fitting canopy is not going to make that a valid option
but if you have 4 - 5 inches of space between the inside of the back of the tank and the flourescent fixture - then a Red Sea Berlin 50 would be very effective for skimming in that sized set up

You should check out the little skimmer Aquaticlife makes too it you're consider an in tank model. I've heard nothing but good, and they look pretty mean.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Would a Tunze 9002 fit in the fuge. It is a great skimmer, very efficient and quiet.

I had the aquatic c running in my current 46 bowfront for a while. I had it leftover from my 30 gallon set up and it ran great in both until i replaced it with a bak pak.

Yeah, definatly.I have the aquacticlife 115,it mounts inside the tank, takes up little room.It took a couple weeks to break in,but it pulls some pretty good gunk out and the price is really good.

thanks for the feedback. i may check out the remora since I'll have up to 4 inches or so by moving around some of the plumbing in the back. after looking at it again, the aqualight compact florescent light will be in contact at that point. damn light is as deep as the tank!
