I haven't posted in almost a year so IM BACK!

Looking for a new fish for my 14g biocube. Its coming up on one year old! I only have a damsel and a turbo snail and 2 blue leg hermits.

I had it bare bottom but i decided i liked sand so i added some live sand and everything seems to be fine except the sand is looking a little dirty after 2 months, but i expected it to be that way.

whats a good fish that will help keep my sand clean and looking pretty?

    maybe a goby..

will a yellow watchman goby be a good choice?

I just got a YWG yesterday and he be hiding but came out to eat today. He will shift the sand some but mostly stay in it's burrow once it makes one.

Gobys will stir up the sand but a watchmen specifically isn't really too good for that. The white gobys with the small yellow stripe near their mouth are good with stirring up sand I just don't remember their specific name. You should also look into some nassarius snails they will live in the sand bed you will probably never see them since they will be "under ground" most of the time. They are good sand stirrers and will help with your sand looking clean. Reefcleaners.org is A nice place to get snails.

As far as fish, a pair of fire gobys would be cool, maybe a pair of clown fish, or some blennys. I wouldn't go overboard with too much fish.

Also get a cleaner shrimp they are fun to watch.

I've had 2 Diamond Watchman gobies and they both constantly sifted and were out all the time watching me.
