I've read various info here on 3reef about ground rods.

Every LFS I go to (I have tried 4) has never even heard of them (I s#!t you not). Other than PetCo, which uses them in all their tanks but they don't sell them. And aquarium world had one, but they wanted ninety bucks for it and it was special order and I think that's insane.

So I've been scouring the internet trying to find a good one. My understanding is that the kind with plastic prongs and metal ground (3 pin) is the best kind - so that's what I want.

The only one I can find from a seller I trust is this
    Rid Volt Titanium Tank Ground

    But I don't think it's the 3 prong kind. I can't tell.

Anyway, if someone could point me to one on the net, I'd like to order it. I'm hoping someone has already ordered one off net and can just point me to same place.

    Thanks reefers.

I think you can plug it into your power strip and connect the grounding eyelet to something else. I definitely like the second one better.
