Looking for a invert to clean my sand

    I disagree with a sandsifting starfish. They are not ment for home aquariums and often die very quick. I had one in my 75 and after a few weeks he started to waste away and ended up dying. I would use some power heads that way it is going through the filter instead of settleing on your sand. It could also be from a new tank you will get all kinds of stuff that is an eye sore for the first 6 months or so.

    I agree they are a poor choice for the vast majority of aquariums. Some do well the majority die. Sand sifters will also eat their way through the good flora and fauna of your sand bed.

    i have to disagree, if theirs one invert that dosent belong in this hobby its a sandsifter. the amount of room they need is crazy, they will surely starve to death. sad but the turth.
