+1 to everything that has been said. I have a nikon D5000 and I love it! They have ones that shoot in full 1080 HD now, mine does 720p

Can the D5100 shoot full 1080p HD video? That's what I am probably going to get now.

My Nikon P90 takes great macro shots, just not for the tank. lol...and the video on it sucks.

Oh yes it does. Not really necessary for what Im looking for it to do, but I realized I could make a sweet wakeboarding edit or snowboard video for the coming year. So Im sure I could put it to work.

Total awesomeness. I asked because I am looking to get a new computer as well (current one can't really handle 1080p viewing quality). :D

New computers is a whole other deal to throw money into. Fellow 3reefer JossMalo built me my computer for just over 300 dollars. He is great with computers but my computer has 6 gigs of ram and a terrabyte harddrive. He bought all of the parts and assembled it for me. Even threw on windows 7 ultimate, which is around 300 bucks on its own I believe. Look into buying a case and all the internals to put it together. A computer like mine is comparable to an Alienware. With a solid internet connection I have a ping when gaming of around 5 usually. I usually have by far the fastest computer of anyone I play counterstrike source with. Haha. Not bad for the money Id say. I usually run around 30 to 40 fps as well. I love my gaming rig.

That's pretty cool. When I have the money I will be getting the HP Omni 200 Quad Series...come standard with Intel i5-760 quad core processor(s)...8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium...21.5" Full HD widescreen with 1080p (1920 x 1080).

haha. It's like the ultimaye computer...an all-in-one too..so it's compact and I won't need to upgrade computer for a very long time. I have a LOT of Google Skecthup files...hoping to switch over to autodek/turbocad. :D I like to draw, so having a bigger screen is nice.

Bigger screen is ideal for drawing. I want a bigger one but Im so used to my 17 inch for gaming that I will probably be running split monitors. Haha. I need more for music production as it is when I switch programs. Im so tired of fl studio for writing electronic stuff. And if I plan on doing guitar or vocal tracking Im going to need to run multiple mixers. Cant do that on just one 17 inch monitor. haha.
