thanks for all the input, I dont' want a hawkfish, although it looks really cool, because as you guys have said it is not really reef safe. Right now the top of the list is a CB or perhaps a royal gamma

    prefer cb over flame angel?

I try to get fish of all different colors, and flames would fit in nicely with that, unless you feel their color is to similar to that of your clown (I dont but some might)

Cb is a good choice though, its all a matter of preference.

I actually like the flame over the CB, but it is significantly more expensive. Thanks sostoudt, that fish looks really cool, I will check that out. Thanks again for all the input, I've got some fish I haven't thought of before

I like a bi color angel but they will nip hard corals if you have any.
I think my next favorite for a tank your size is a pygmy angel or possible a blenny (any type)
The psuedochromis is a beautiful fish but they jump so be aware of that.

I have a pygmy in my 56, (you can see him in some of the pictures in my aquarium album perhaps)..

I like him, but he can be a nasty, aggressive fish when he wants to. He's always really shy, and keeps to himself until you add a new fish, which he bullies for several days, and for some reason the added fish will cause him to pick upon everyone until someone (almost always the hogfish) puts him back into his place.

Sorry for posting right afterwards but i found a picture with the pygmy in it....

His normal, shy self, although that didn't stop him from getting in the picture :)

for sure, i wrote in one other thread about my bad results with the psuedochromis family although fridimani is one of the lesser aggressive ones. Try a purple stripe one on for size, now those are mean!
