    Well, I like my nassarius too for stirring up the sand, but they don't eat poop. They are meat eaters. They eat food. Hermit are scavengers. Worms eat poop. A healthy sand bed with worms and stars cleans the bed. Sand stirrers are good, but that does not mean they are eating poop.

    Some sea cucumbers make good sand cleaners, depends on the size of your tank though, some can get really really big.

    I have 1 atlantic black cucumber and 1 tiger tail cucumber in my 90g. But yeah, they can get big. They do really clean up the sand though, and one of mine eats cyano.

    My engineer friend has a black atlantic one in his 75 that is 8-10 inches long.
