Wow hope i'm at the right cathegory so many.

Ok Hey guys in my next 100G long tank i'm gona have a green blue green chromis school of five, thats usually whats indicated from what i've red so far so thay can ( shoal) together. I simply like the bluegreen with white sand and its hardiness. Now does anybody knows if the Bartlett Anthias shoal? It would be very nice the pink and bluegreen. Thanks.

I'm guessing you mean blue-green Chromis. Five Pseudochromis would beat the snot out of each other in short order.

A 100 gal may not be large enuff for any fish to shoal tho...not sufficient room, and you likely can't keep the numbers needed for it to look like anything but a few of the same fish, altho some of them may hang out together.

Altho I've kept four species of anthias over the years, I've never kept Bartlett's, so I can't help you there, mostly meaning that I can't remember if they're one of the species that picks each other off. I'm sure someone will chime in tho.

FWIW, I have three blue-green chromis in my 54 gallon, and they really do kind of school (shoal) together...I think a group of 5 probably would in a 100 gallon but that's just my input and others on here are way more experienced than me :)

Thanks for the input and the new word lol. I've also seen chromis in 40 G shoal so i fugure 5 in a 100 will be fine and maybe 3 or four pink ones the color scheme would be great under the LED .

What other fish are you gonna get? Chromis are boring in my opinion and VERY common. You should at least get a Blue Reef Chromis:

    Much prettier in my opinion.

Also if you want any other fish a Mimic Lemonpeel Tang would be very pretty.

LOL thanks i use to think so too but until i saw them shoal together in a tank and shimmer againts the white sand and corals with other fishs it was cool to see the effect and when i ask what fish i felt stupid because i knew that fish for a long time, one of the first one we learn about actualy. The other a Tang i couldn't the last time my tank was too small , and if i can another fish that shoal but not necessary. I've got 2 other tanks that will be on top 30 G a Biotope of seahorses and Macro-Algae And the other one with an Angler and a Scorpio and Macro-Algae. The two top tank should also provide enough pods for a mandarin in one of the tanks, probably in the horse tank. As for other fish not sure yet. wrasses are cool jumper though...

This particular tang would be fine in a 100 gal. He'd just have to be the only tang.

If i'm reading this right your avatar tang because their's no other picture here:confused:. A lemon tang wouldn't do? i was thinking the blue of the chromis againt the yellow of the tang and then some pink fron athias or wrasses. I'll have a sliding glass top.

The tang I was talking about before. Also I just think the mimic lemonpeel tang is much prettier and less common.
