Can anyone recommend a comprehensive resource on the web for information on different corals and their care? I've been trying to find an all-in-one website for this.

Like a lot of complex systems there isn't always a single 100% "right" way to do everything. There are lots of opinions, everyone has their own system, no two aquariums are exactly alike etc so there isn't always a definitive single best way to do everything. Just keep that in mind. :)

With that said I think this is pretty much the best guide to getting the basics of chemistry down. Part 1, 2, and 3 at the top of the page pretty much cover the basics of maintaining water chemistry for coral. All the articles are pretty good though in general from Randy Holmes-Farley.

I don't know of a single source for the other main aspects of keeping coral, lighting, and water flow though. I would just say get a good skimmer, run carbon, get a quality T5 lighting fixture with ATI/UVL/Giesemann brand bulbs, and enough powerheads to get between 20x to 40x your tank volume in turnover and you're probably good. ;D
