    Hey guys, I am wondering if you guys know anyone or anywhere that breeds I can buy straight from? I am in the future looking for a young 1 to 1 1/2 inch hippo and a pair of percs. thanks:)

    As far as I know of nobody has been able to raise hippo tangs yet.

    Percs, you can get lots of places, I would say either check with your local club for a local hobbiest breeder, or have your LFS get you captive breed from one of the many commercial breeders.

    tangs havent been bred in captivity. from what ive heard the larval stage is very long and wouldn't be worth breeding even for a large company.

    plenty of people breed percs i dont have a list of them though sorry.
