Hello everyone im in need of some advice in picking out a new ro/di system I have narrowed it down to 2 systems first is the spectra-pure here is the system. SpectraPure MaxCap RODI w/ Automatic Flush .the question with this system is that do i need to keep buying the premade filters for it or can i just refill them myself. Next is this bulkreef supply system.BRS 6 Stage Chloramines DELUXE RO/DI System - 75GPD - Bulk Reef Supply now for this system i already have 2 di canisters from brs so i don't think i need the 2 extra canisters i would love some feed back on this as the water in my city is very dirty my sediment filter turns dark brown in just two months so its pretty bad also if there is another ro/di you guys have in mind please let me know thanks.

The Spectrapure comes with .5 micron prefilters, way better. The unit in the link is really nice but is pricey,I think I would shop the spectrapure website before buying.

I went with an aquasafe system. Has been working great for several years. I bought a package deal where you get 3 years worth of filters and think I paid around 300 bucks for it all.

go with spectrapure hands down. They make top of the line systems and the best quality filters to match. By going to their web page they constantly have sales going on you can get the 90gpd maxcap 2:1 model you listed directly from them on sale for 289$

I have the BRS 5 stage Chloramines and all i can add to this is go with Spectrapure. I took AZs advise and switched out to their filters and my water even looks cleaner in my buckets. They have better filters hands down.. You pay for it but look at how much you have in your system as it is. Its worth the investment

Read up on some of AzDesRats posts- I thought he posted that you dont really need the flush thing, but I don't remeber for sure.

Hopefully he'll log in soon and see you RO/DI post, and set us straight.
