So I came across 100lbs of live rock for $100 the other day. Got it home and noticed some had some aiptasia on it. I am looking for a way to kill the little pests without killing all the bacteria. Plus there are some of those little star fish in there that I am trying not to kill. Any one got any ideas for the mass genocide of the pests while saving everything else?

whenever ive had aiptasia ive had good luck with mrs wages pickling lime.just mix it up thin enough to shoot thru a syringe with no needle, and give each one of them a dose of it.Ive never seen one come back, they think its food and then its too late for them, lol

I've had great luck with the Kalwasser too! I don't think they think it's food though, they srivel away instantly!
Cheap as ever, won't really change the tank environment, very specific kill, like a drone strike!

+1 for Aiptasia-X, you could also get some peppermint shrimps for a week or two, then return them to LFS.

if you have a lot of the buggers I'd vote for a half dozen or so pep shrimps...work like magic. when they are done, bring them to your LFS for credit/trade
