Hi Everyone, I am going to change from MH to LEDs and wonder if anyone is familiar with these lights.
    120Watt Aquarium LED Panel: AquariumLEDSolutions.com

I have read and debated on what I should do and am still trying to decide. Even thought about DIY even though I am not that handy. I have a 75 gallon reef tank With a mix of sps, lps and some softies. Any input would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

yikes for that money I'd do AI sols, this light doesnt have any info on color temperature, or any controller functions that I can see, it looks questionable to me at best. The AI sol is 75W of pure strength and if you have that kind of money burning a hole in your pocket, put it toward them cause they are winners.

If it were me spending that kind of money, I would go with a proven system like the AI sols mentioned above. For that price there are many other fixtures available, all with proven technical data to back them up. Just my two cents.

Its not just wattage thats important, infact with LEDs wattage is irrelevant, its color temp. you want how many kelvin does the light produce how much nm are the blues? Like I said go have a look at AI's website and see for your self,
    AI Sol
take a look around on this website, and check out the specks, there is so much you can do with this light it will blow your head off

AquariumLEDSolutions are doing well on my 75 gallon

These lamps have been out for over a year now and apparently they have some new projects that aren't released to the public. I bought these lamps over a year ago (at the same price) and they have been working great. They have always been helpful when I contact them, but I can definitely tell they are not a huge company. Seems like a few aquarium geeks that started with DIY and then had some lamps manufactured, they probably paid quite a bit and don't have the highest margins. Given that these lamps are commodity now I'd like to see some of the competitors stuff... They are bright as heck, I have 2 of the 90W lamps on my 75 gallon tank supporting all my corals. Was a great relief from the metal halides and a year ago this seemed a lot more magical. At that time most people were still skeptical that LED would be the future, but it seems pretty clear now.

Might want to contact them and ask about pricing, they gave me a deal and free shipping for purchasing 2. Small company, easy to work with and helpful.. so there is usually a little wiggle room. With the bigger boys, what you see is what you get. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the input so far. I have been reading about LEDs for weeks now trying to make sure I do not mAke a mistake. I have also looked at the dyi kits from rapid and it does not seem that techincal. I this truly the case? I also did not realize that the sols were so close in price to my linked LEDs.

yes they are very close, diy is pretty easy now a days. I really love the sol though, just cause of the options it has, and the fact that its modular is awesome too
