So my build is almost ready for me to start adding the rock and sand and water. I just got in my InTank Media Basket Combo for my BC29, I have already added my Cobalt MJ1200, found a LFS that has the Loc-Line parts that I needed for a good price. I got in my Purigen and Chemi-Pure Elite. I decided not to go with a protein skimmer right now since in the future I may do a custom DIY Sump/Refugium for the tank.

Anyway, I had purchased these for my BC29 thinking I could upgrade them since they are not working:

4 LED Solderless Moonlight Kit - Rapid LED

But quickly found out once I got them that they would not work with the factory hood without some modding, and I wasnt ready to tear it down since I had just bought new compacts.

Thats when I found Current-USA and their True Lumen Nano LED Kit. At $145.00 via Amazon it seems like a steal! It may set me back a few weeks before I get the LR and LS!!!

    Check them out: http://www.current-usa.com/aquarium-...striplight-kit

    or

I have seen a post here and there on these but nothing compared to the LED Kits that are at least double the price. I wanted to know if anyone here had some experience with these and if anyone knows of a controller that I can use to to simulate sunrise, sunset and moonlighting that you guys may think will work. If you see the video(s) there is no cutting, drilling or really dismantling of the hood, take the compacts out and put these in!

    Thanks!

Anthony - I have posted this exact same thing on reef central and nano-reef and no one has even replied, very disconcerting when forums are used to ask questions and get some answers. Hopefully I will get an answer or two here.

Seems your links do not work as you intended; route to current-usa but to a "page not found".

Yes, I think that you have copied the URLs from somewhere that was having them in shorten manner. It is not working and so we cannot understand you completely, but one thing I can suggest you that 4 LED Solderless Moonlight Kit - Rapid LED is a good choice.
