Looking For Opinions For Complete Fixtures or DIY

    I'm trying to decide if I want to keep the new Hamilton Cebu Sun Fixture I ordered or build a custom top. I currently have two Icecap DE MH Fixtures, 4 T5 bulbs and socket ends as well as a CoralVue T5 Ballast. All of that aside, I like the tempered glass cover on the fixture but I'm afraid that there is going to be too much light in my office with the open fixture. So what is everybody's experience? Currently I have a custom top on my 60 gallon that has the MH fixtures and the T5's in it. I really like how everything is made into the Hamilton Fixture, but I want some opinions before I wire it up, or pictures would be great. From the pictures i attached, you can see, the trim side is my living room and the cabinet side is my office, its where the light will be.
