looking for some dark blue backgrounds

    I have been thinking of colors to paint the background of my tank when it is finished being built. I think I like the krylon fusion navy blue paint, from the picture I saw of a guy who used that paint but thats the only picture I can find of it. I was woundering if I can see some of your tanks with the krylon navy blue paint or any other darker blue backgrounds to get som ideas. thanks

    heres the picture of the krylon navy blue. im looking at something like this for the background. any thoughts on this color for my tank?

    ehh, Ive done black befor and it just diddnt look good to me. Im thinking blue would be cool looking with the shimmer from my leds hitting it

    I've done the "typical" blue and black. I like the black much better but a dark blue like navy may be pretty cool too. The typical light blue just shows too much and seems a little fake to me. I have seen tanks that transitioned from a light blue toward the top to black on the bottom and that looked really nice.

    ya I know whatcha mean about the light blue, it reminds me of fish stores because they all use that light blue paint. I dont think id go any lighter then the navy blue

    I love my blue background, It hides all the wires behind the tank. Mine is just a plain blue background from the fish store. Stuck up with some tape =]
