looking for some small fish

    i have a 55g tall with a hippo and a yellow tang. i am wanting to get some small fish that stay small to add some life to my tank. they also have to be reef safe. any ideas.

    Get a pair of Sharknose Gobies :) your tangs will enjoy them.

    rainfodi goby (sp) but awesome fish or a flasher wrasse

    Yellow Stripe Clingfish are really neat. They are reef compatible, semi-aggressive, require a medium care level, & only grow to 2". You could probably get a few of them. Beneficial to coral too! :) "...also preys upon parasitic bivalves that attack various species of corals."

    Be careful with your bioload, tangs are messy, messy! I'd stick with something really small, like neon gobies or sharknose gobies.

    I agree.

    Keep in mind that hippo will get to be around a foot long unless you plan on upgrading or selling it before it gets too big and bored in a smaller tank. The YT fits the description as well, but won't get as big as the hippo.
