The blue polyp is called a Blueberry Gorg. Leave it in the ocean. It will not survive. Many have tried and one guy that I know of have been able to get it to live. He spend thousands of dollars and was setup for just that type of animal.

there are a few here with the gorgonians, but as jon said, tough to keep. imo best left to seasoned salt aquarists. i had one , which was dumb in hindsight , newb mistake. it survived for a short period. the acans are awesome corals, some prefer lower light and on the sand , but some great colors. get the acan , leave the gorg

thanks for the help. i've got a 150 halide with some actinics about 32 inches off the substrate, think that would keep most acans happy? also, i hear they're pretty aggressive with their sweeper tentacles. how much space should i give this thing?

ive never noticed any serious length to their tentacles. he heads on my acan are quarter sized and tentacles ive noticed maybe only quarter inch or so. so im not really sure they are that aggressive
