I am looking to reaquascape my tank here pretty soon depending on what day all of my coral, livestock come in, I want to do it 2 days in advance but I am having a hard time picking which aquascape I like best. I have been looking at a lot of tanks online but I just seem to see the same old wall of rock like I have. I am looking for something a little nicer/authentic looking reef style. I am going to keep my large cave on the left side of the tank, I am just looking to remodel the right half of my tank, I am thinking of a sloping look possibly something to maximize the amount of coral I put in my tank. Any ideas would be gladly used and also I am going on an expedition of sorts, fragging my very own Zoa's (i have read up on how to frag and the precautions of doing so.) I have a weird looking combo of zoas I plan on selling once I get a decent colony going. They have a bright green skirt, a hunters green inside and a pink center. If anyone wants to buy some frags of it I would be happy to sell some.

i would do something like this.. ( imagine each O is a rock)

    ddddddd O O
    dddddd O O O
    ddddd O O O O

this would be the "wall" BUT... if you do this while you go back ( as in you do this step while you go towards the back of the tank). as well, it will look like its sloping and you will have tons of space for coral placement. LOTS of crevices and nice caves.

idk if i make sense. lol

IGNORE THE d's.. i had to put them there so it would make the shape i wanted.

i do like the looks of the sloping caves they look pretty nice. But I have a lot of caves, but one thing I do like is the whole archway in the bottom. which means more room to swim for the fish plus it gives the person a look into the back of the tank, as of right now all I have are caves that I cannot see into on the right side, I might do an archway deal :p thanks

    +1 on Elweshomayor

A twin island set up would be cool in your case -clowns with territory
that way if your existing clowns host an area and then have to swim across to another pile of rocks they may not be so determined thats also their territory (the open water may convince them that their territory has ended)

Not quite as clear an image, but you can get a better idea of how it looks.

I am going to turn the right side of the tank into an archway that slopes down on both sides of the arch and incorporate it into the left side of the tank, I love the look of archways.
