    Thanks for all the advice!

    I was planning on a 20 gallon because my budget is kinda low and a 20 gallon fits best. I'm trying to set this up for as cheap as possible without cutting any corners. Also I was just gonna put a couple hardy fish with the live rock, nothing too fancy.

    Edit: If I can find a larger tank for cheap I will do that.

    keep an eye out in your local craigslist and local reef clubs for people selling used stuff to save on money
