Looking to upgrade lighting.. What do you think?

    So I've been thinking about upgrading lighting on a 29gal FOWLR tank. Saw these on eBay and was curious about what you guys thought. The price point looks pretty good from what I've seen looking around.

    I like that the 4-bulb version has the LED moonlights also. Both come with the bulbs, which from what I've seen researching is a pretty good deal. What do you guys think?

    Hi, and welcome to 3Reef!

    For a FOWLR tank, any light will work. If you think you might want to add corals in the future, I would recommend the 4-bulb unit because then you would only need to upgrade the bulbs. The fact that they use 24" tubes adds to the attraction as you have a much larger variety of higher-quality bulbs available as opposed to 30" tubes.

    Yeah, it is FOWLR for now, but I would like to explore some corals at some point in the future.
