Looking to upgrade lights on a budget...ideas?

    im looking for a new light fixture for a 46 gallon bowfront, and kind of hoping i could do it for cheap.. any ideas appreciated haha

    you can always look on craigslist or kijiji. sometimes theres a good deal on there.

    Depends on what kind of lights you are looking for. Aquatraders.com has some decent PC fixtures for fairly inexpensive if you are looking for FOWLR. If you are doing a full blown reef let us know what kind of corals you will be keeping and we can give you better advice.

    Also, knowing what kind of budget you're would help. Don't wanna pry, but it sure would help. :)

    craigslist, ebay, the find.com and local reefing forums are your best best IMO.

    Well i was hoping to be able to keep most corals eventually.. and whats the cheapest a fixture would go for at that size? .. something that would make all softies pop.. and maybe a little beyond that

    Check out topdogsellers on ebay. I got a really nice 150 watt MH with 2 14 watt actinics for $89 for my nano. They have the best prices I've found
