    Looks like foram ... If I remember right its not a plant or animal ..If it is Foram, thats shot for a longer name I also dont remember. its part of a small group of organisms (cant remember the name) that dont quite fit into another catagory

    Forams are protists--neither plant nor animal. They have their own taxonomic kingdom.

    Thanks for filling in my gaps guys ... I read about them when I first started my tank because they were some of the only hitchhikers I had on my LR. The LFS store where I bought my tank, sand and rock take great care and time with their LR to make sure you start with a clean slate when you bring it home , plus I wanted to start from scratch and keep the hidden creepy stuff to a minimum... but the forams still made it through. I guess they are pretty tough .
