Looks like a flower??

    Anyone have an idea what it might be? It does not seem to move and the crabs, snails, and fish do not bother it.

    Looks like one to me too. They spread really really fast so get rid of them asap. Aiptasia - X works really well.

    ya it does look like a button polyp which are worth keeping but how bout all the bubble algae around it. but dont pop it.

    base appears to round to be aptasia i,m leaning toward a polyp of some sort. I'd let it grow a little to get a better look at it before i disposed of it.

    I agree with UncleJed, its a brown button polyp, definitely a keeper. Soon the inside of the polyp will turn green(given that it has the right lighting).
