Looks like dead grass?

This stuff as been in my tank now for a while, but to me it seems to be getting worse, some places theres hardly any and others thers quite a bit, it tends to grow more on the underside of my live rock, and looks like i can only explain it has being tiny dried grass, any ideas?

does it look like this? i couldnt see those too well. if it does, mine is a sargassum. came on the live rock. its like a seaweed. ive started to pick it off because i dont really like it.

 

from pick it looks like one of 2 things... long hair algea or 2 hydroid colony in mudesa stage pic is blurry cant really tell

 

I thought the medusa stage was the lil jelly fish looking thing? I have the medusa but no plant like that. Although I did get some snails with a type oof plant growing on thier back but it was more brown in color. Stingray is the plant real hard in texture or does it sway?

 

It does not sway, its still grows like dead dry grass, longest strands are couple of mil long, very odd...
