I don't like disagreeing with ya tangster as you probably have 6,000,000 times more experience than I do but I use phosban in a nylon sack in my softie tank and it works well. With that being said I'm not sure about rowaphos. I just bought it for the first time today actually and have it running in a reactor in my sps tank and I'm about to put some in a bag in my softie tank.

Never used Phosban I don't think ? But ferric oixde well set up like a ball of rust unless its kept fludized .. I have seen it riun more then one reactor .. Maye they have added some sort of buffer ? to the Phosban ? But it will set up and if you put true ferric oxide under a strong direct water flow it well start to beat and break up into mud a red rusty mud. Phosban ? Is that the one who also has a reactor ? Like I said I realy don't know that product I did use a Phos somthing or another came in a little 2 x 4 pouch like ? was not red though .

2 little fishes makes phosban and they also make a reactor for it. the phosban also comes with a little baggy as did the rowaphos I just bought.
