Losing Zoo's

You can also frag off the dead tissue and lightly scrub that area with a clean toothbrush. I found that to be much less stressful for the healthy frags than to transplant them onto a new frag plug or new rock location. If you don't brush off the dead tissue, it will spread. But that's just my own experience.

The pics of these paly's just reinforces my personal belief in just leaving my reef alone and only taking care of the stuff it rely's on me for like w/c's and dosing. Now I'm not saying that is what you should do too because your tank and corals are yours. So please don't add a bunch of posts about how you should treat and blah, blah, blah. IMHO unless you are 1000% sure of what the problem is, don't try and fix it.

The paly colony taken the day of the thread start. I can't treat this colony seperate from the reef because it's attached and growing from a 10# boulder.


The Paly's today


The Gorilla Nipples couldn't be treated either because they grow on the top of the same rock. They have also made a full recovery.
The Armor of God was treated, began to look better then relapsed. I treated them again but the mother head began to shrivel so I stopped treating and moved them up high on the rocks into better flow and light. They are showing verrry slow signs of improvement but can still go either way imo.
The fourth colony was also treated but it died and melted, basically overnight.
