Didn't really smell bad, and he stayed in the same upside down position 3 days.

You should get your SG up to 1.025 to 1.027, I have had lots of problems with Emeralds not surviving molts. I have a red Mythrix that did molt at least once though so I don't know what to think.

 

If it didn't stink, I'm still guessing molt.

 

I think Im agreeing with the molt theory, if it was truly a dead crab rotting there for 3 days you would have smelled it when you pulled it out .... hopefully it was only a molt and not a dead crab

 

Well a molt is going to be hollow...Im sure reefer check to see if had internals when he pulled it out..right reefer?

 

Yea i saw him and he was not hollow, he looked to have a little weight on him, no smell so it will be left i suppose as an unsolved mystery. I don't think I'm going to get another crab any time soon since the corals are going in very soon. And the salt lvl i will look into to fix because I don't like that at all.
