    If I remember correctly you introduced a clown and the other clown died shortly there after. It did not show the typically symptoms of either Brookynella or Marine Ich, but rather just stopped eating and declined from there.

    I think leaving the tank without fish for several weeks is the best bet at this point. A viral infection can move through fish quickly and leave little or no symptoms.

    Personally a tank with just corals can keep me entertained for months.

    This I would stop for sure. The alk/ca swings are not worth it.

    No real way to test for pathogens. You have the most common tests for a FOWLR set up. Water quality seems fine. Are you following the directions exactly on the Purple Up?
