Has anyone ever lost coral only to be looking at your tank one day and remembering that you had this one frag once, where did it go. When you look in your tank you cant find it anywhere. I lost a few frags that way lol. Adding new rock, rearranging aquascaping. I misplaced coral in my own tank only for them to dissapear somewhere into my rocks never to be found again.

For example I rearranged my rocks after gettin 50lbs for free and misplaced a nice green/pink ricordea. Can't find it and I dont want to start disassembling rock for it.

Found it! So far though, in this last year, ive lost a candy cane with 3 heads, a frag of some kind of red sps, and a really small finger leather coral that kind of got sucked in the rock it was left on somehow

I lost a few mushrooms in the back of my tank, and found them awhile back. Luckily they did pretty well under the low-light conditions they were in.

thats happened to me a few times, actions of snails and hermits can account for many misplaced coral frags if they are not glued or putty'd into place
