Lost male lyretail anthia.

I had a trio with 2 females and a
Male, the male suddenly died about 3 weeks ago no idea why

Should I just leave the 2 femAles or add another male or female to the mix only other tank mates are a foxface and chromis

 

I would add another female, that way there is no problems if one of the two you already have turns male.

 

Yeah, adding a male would be like roulette.

A female is the way to go if you want another. One will turn male.

 

Should I get a smaller female? Or try to find the same size?

 

So long as it isn't considerably bigger, I think you'll be just fine.
