lost my first fish due to jumping

i know makes me hate the chromis even more, this morning that fish sure seems happy, ill be going to the LFS today for coral maybe ill see if they have a fish catch and when i do get him out he's going straight to the toilet, he deserves a death like that after everything he put flash through

i may have to try to build something like that thanks for the tip

 

make the coke/water bottle trap.. It worked for my damsel, he got the same treatment..

 

Sorry to hear of your loss. Fish easily jump through egg crate, if you want to contain your other wrasse you need to get netting for the top of the tank. Something so simple as a shadow or you walking in the room, or a pet, can spook wrasse and other jumping fish to the point of jumping out of the tank, straight through egg crate.

ill have to try that if the lfs doesnt have a trap. flash had put up with the chromis for so long, he was always getting some nasty beat downs and ive been trying to catch that chromis for some time but he's just so dang fast i couldnt even catch him when i tore apart my aquascape ysterday

thanks i have had this guy for months, no issues, i do plan to replace him with another small wrasse but before i do ill have to make a different top, at least my current wrasses are to big to jump through eggcrate

thanks and today was supposed to be a happy day since im going to the lfs to see what coral the have, but now i HAVE to get some coral to try to make the day get a little better

 

I think a fishtrap is your best bet on catching him.
( try to feed him to the puffer) or you can throw it to the trash rather than toilet or just give give him a carpet ride so that he feels what he felt. Idk that seems cruel but...........
Or you can just give it to lfs for free or credit.

Are you going to replace flash?

yea i think that will be the only way to catch him

lol i had put fish aggressive fish with my puffer, a psedochromis and blue damsel, the psedo killed the the damesl, and then the psedo started to beat up on Puff and he just cowered in a corner, so im thinking the chromis will be aggressive enough to pick on Puff so that's not going to happen

also he doesnt deserve a second chance at living, he put flash through hell i like the carpet idea, that way he would know what flash's final moments were


and im thinking of replacing him either with a small wrasse or a midas blenny, ive always wanted one

 

yea i just hope they have something i like, im hoping the have SPS in stock

 

evil bastard, who would of thought a chromis would cause so much trouble, flash is now th 5th fish that he has killed
