    This is a very old thread, but I did have both the skimmer and left side (larger) pump fail. The skimmer pump was within warranty, and I got a new one immediately. I didn't have the receipt anymore by the time the left side broke, so I replaced it with a MaxiJet.

    If you still have your receipt, call up Red Sea, and they'll get you another one really quickly. I think they shipped mine next day air, because it got here (NJ) the next day (from their Texas HQ).
