    went to the MASC Holiday Coral Sale in Loveland, Co last sunday and got some really cool corals! I just couldnt remember what
    they were named when i got them home.

    2. zoanthus sp.
    3. maybe a favia
    4. acanthastrea lordhowensis
    5. acanthastrea lordhowensis
    6. caulastrea curvata
    7. zoanthus sp.
    8. green star polyps mixed with palythoa sp.

    No problem, I hope you weren't looking for "designer" names. I personally stay away from them. When trading/selling with other reefers you can pick up quite a hassle from others wanting a rare "LE whatchamacallit" with lineage to boot. In my honest opinion naming corals with all the bells and whistles was one of the biggest downfalls to this hobby, I don't really care where your sister's friend's uncle's girlfriend acquired that LE pumpkin patch, I like the coral, but not the named price tag :)

    you think the acanthastrea and favia will do ok under Power Compacts?

    If those pictures are them already in your tank they look fantastic :) no need to worry. Although I do not know how well they will grow under pc's. I would imagine the acan's would fair quite well if fed often, the "favia" I am unsure of.

    Very nice finds. The acans should be fine. I would try to get the favia up a little higher in the tank. Maybe mid way to start.

    alrighty i will move it up a bit. Should i leave the acans on the sand bed?
