Loud Chiller

    I recently purchased a used CL-450 Chiller made by Pacific Coast Imports and when it kicks on it is very loud! The fan is not rubbing on anything it is just loud also when the compressor kicks on it gets even louder. This is my first experience with a chiller and is this normal or should I just sell this one and look for a smaller or better brand of chiller?

    i think you found the ripest lemon in a box.. i did some digging around and found that the loudest db rating for operation was 42dbs wich is very quiet.. heres the link i found stating the operation along with specs..

    MHO.. return if possiable.. or deff makes some call's to the dealer or where ever you got it from...

    Yep it is definitely ripe! 42db is pretty loud. I wonder what some of the other chiller brands run at. Thanks for the reply I appreciate your input.
