How well does that skimmer work? I've considered using one on my nano as well.

nice work with pico tank. very cool
im not certain but the macro looks like sea lettuce.

and for the skimmer question. i dont find many who are satisfied with the performance. i for one am pleased for the price i paid. produces more of a wet skimmate. but im sure at this point there are much better options. the sapphire nano skimmer is what i would look into when it comes to nano skimmer.

i think the most important thing to do when using any nano skimmer is to be religous with water changes because our tanks are smaller and easier to fully stock and our skimmers are not as efficient.

Well, i'm using a coralife 65 on a 12g, so i'm pretty well covered as far as skimming is concerned lol. But I agree that water changes are pretty important. I intentionally skim very wet in an attempt to somewhat automate my water changes.

Well everyone, ran into a bit of a problem i left my t5's on for oh about 35 hours :| and boom evil bubble algae and GHA just took over i was surprised at how fast it all established, and a bit concerned... any ideas on what i could do? as far as the GHA , and maybe a crab for bubble algae i hear they are very toxic and should only be removed via syringe
