Hey get a room! Oh wait....that anemone is your room!
2 Spotted Damsel and long tentacle anemone paired up. Pretty cute. Was hoping my clowns would do it. Nope.
I read that long tentacle and clown fish doesn’t normal pair up but guy at first store said his did. And it’s hard to find anemones that are small in my area. So I got it anyway because it’s still cool

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Just as cool or even better when other damsels residing in anemones. Domino/3spot damsels are pretty aggressive little buggers, one tried to kill me once, no lie.

Interesting. The only fish that has ever attacked me was a female Ocellaris. Tried to chew my arm off every time I put my hand in the tank. :p

That's really cool, Ballgame. I once had a Domino that resided in a Condy nem. :)

Put this on the list of new things I learned today!

I had thought only the clown family was immune to nems sting!

Very cool pic/story, thanks for sharing.

My buddy just told me a story about in Fiji when they were diving they came up on a huge rose bubble tip with a bunch of clown hosting one side and dominoes on the other.

To clarify, clownfish are not immune to the sting; I had a tank-bred female ocellaris that got stung when she dove into a new rbta. Their defense is a slime coat that makes them invisible to the nem, which is something they may need to build/rebuild if they haven't been near a nem for an extended period.

I've seen several reef photos with a variety of damsels residing in anemones. :)
