I recently purchased a ViaAqua 2600 pump. The pump is rated at 740gph at 0 head. Their chart shows that even at 4' head I should still get 400+ from it. I have about 48" from the sump to the top of my tank and then back down 22 to the spray bar. using 1/2" pipe for the spraybar and 5/8 ID hose to connect to the pump. I measured the flow the other day and it took 30 sec to fill a 1 gallon bottle. That's only 120gph! There are only 3 elbows in the entire run. Anyone have any thoughts on how I might improve the performance? (I just realize I have not verified the 0 head flow of the pump, I will try that)

Probably sounds about right. Elbows add major head pressure, as does the 48" run up. I have mine on a mag 9.5 (950 gph) and I get a very gentle flow from mine. :)
