    Hey all,

I have done some re-scaping and have some really high points for when I get some SPS (my new powerheads are on their way). I also made some over hangs, large caves etc, which I think look really cool. My cleaner shrimp and flasher wrasse has sort of claimed it.

But its a quite a big space and I was wondering weather there are any corals that like low light? so I can put them under the over hangs etc. Just so I can use all the space that's available to me.

I was thinking zoas? or something along those lines?

Sun coral like it dark. Pricey though...never been a problem for me because I got them offshore. Tricky to keep as well. [IMG]

They do look very nice. Ill try and price them here. I just want something that can fill up that area so its not a waste of space (even though some of my fish love it).

Im not sure I can give them the necessary flow under the rocks though cause its in an area of pretty low flow. I have an MP10 on the way, and will be saving for another. I do have a small powerhead I could direct underthere to make sure it got good flow.

They are nps. So you will have to feed them, alot of people keep them around me because someone collects them and than they trade and swap.

A chili cactus coral would be sweet, they are nps and naturally live in caves and upside down under overhangs. They require spot feeding though.

Sure, I have no problem feeding them. Because I have read they eat brine shrimp/mysis etc. Are they fed often? or just 2-3 days like nems?

i think Nps need to be feed daily. Also I'm pretty sure most nps like it on the chilly side.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Water quality vs feeding requirements for nps.

Sure one or two in medium size tank will not have much impact.

As you add more nutrients to meet the nutritional needs of NPS, you also tend to develop algae issues, larger populations of bristle worms and pods.
