in the start i figured the skimmer would be enough but since its just a little hang on the back one i used in my 15 gallon reef its probably not really doing a lot for the tank, i get a little skimmate every few days but nothing to write home about unless i really crank it up and then its barely off color from the tank water.

after i move i'm hoping to get a real sump set up promptly with a proper skimmer and refugium built.

so far the inhabitant of the tank has been doing well all things considered, eating every few days (every two at the moment) and moving around about twice a day then resting, i have no idea what he does at night as of yet.

the other goal once i get all my FW and my SW moved is to get a RO unit, it would be so nice not to wonder whats going into the tank this time. That and it would allow me to have good clean water for a few FW set up ideas i want to try...typically i have liquid stone but i've moved and need to get the details of the water here.

PS thanks again for all the help on this, my little sea goblin seems to be thriving and so are the critters on the rock :D
