Anyone have any tips on a good low waste RODI unit? I'm also looking for advice on how to reuse waste water. Thanks!

They are correct, Spectrapure has the only proven system on the market with their MaxCap UHE, I happen to own one myself and while not inexpensive it is an awesome unit. There are a couple others who attempted a low waste unit but they missed the boat by using high TDS tap water to flush the units unlike Spectrapure which uses stored DI water and they do not work for long as the membrane fouls and fails.

The waste or brine from any unit can be used for other purposes like landscape or plant watering or laundy but honestly you flush much more wate rthan a RO wastes down the drain every day with the toilet and shower. They are not the wasters some try to make them out to be.
