It is possible to use a lower wattage mh in a fixture? I have a 250 watt mh fixture, but all I need it 200 watts. The the bulbs the same size (hqi)?

    Thanks,

    Glor

Nope its 250 w and the ballast would blow out a 175 I have never seen a 200W M/H unlike a 200 w Mercury or sodium Vapor I have seen tons of them but unless the transformer seconday wattage matches the bulb watt rating then it will just blow the bulb
